PromPeru and NUFFIC Promote Sustainable Exports

PROMPERÚ and the Dutch non-profit organisation promote sustainable exports in Peruvian companies.

 

Sustainable Exports promotion from NUFFIC and PromPeru

 

Peru Export and Tourism Promotion Board (PROMPERÚ) recognised 12 companies from the agribusiness and garment sector that participated in the Corporate Social Responsibility Program between May and September 2019, implemented – with the support of the Orange Knowledge Program | NUFFIC– a nonprofit organisation of the Netherlands that aims to contribute to the sustainable and inclusive development, through access to education and training of people and organisations, internationally.

Agricola Cerro Prieto, Agricola Don Ricardo, Agroexportadora Tasta, AICASA, Algarrobos Organicos del Peru, Burana, Corceli, Espacio Concepto Moda, Las Tres Margaritas, Rasil, Rinconcito de las Tradiciones Peruana, and Textil Airin were the 12 participants of the program.

This effort by PROMPERÚ and NUFFIC aims to promote the use of the essential tools and practices for the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility in the Inca’s export businesses. During these months, PROMPERÚ and NUFFIC led the training towards the management of tools and techniques to implement corporate social responsibility, the importance of export trends in the same context as well as the development of CSR action plans and rules of conduct.

Within the framework of the program the participants were instructed to prepare their own strategic communication plan favouring CSR actions; all this in order to contribute in the performance and professional growth of companies and the sustainability of their exports.

In the certification ceremony the Commercial and Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Gerwin Woudt, was present.
